Galaxy Nexus now available in America for $750 Unlocked

Hot off the heels of yesterday’s UK release, the Galaxy Nexus has already found its way to America. Expansys are now selling the device unlocked, contract-free for $750 USD in their online store.

This is a pretty good price, considering the high-end specifications of the device. Expect to see the price drop over first & second quarter 2012, as a new round of Android phones hit the ground. But for now, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the best phone money can buy. If you’re based in the US, and are looking for an unlocked handset, head over to Expansys where you can buy the Galaxy Nexus for $749.99 with Free Shipping.

On a side note, it looks like the naming is now officially confirmed as the Galaxy Nexus – not Nexus Prime as many had previously thought. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens when the Verizon announcement comes. Shouldn’t be too long now!
